“ Beautiful gem of a cafe in Coventry. The food is beautiful and the drinks are just as amazing (unfortunately I had drank half when I took this photo so didn’t want to ruin the aesthetic ) the staff are lovely and approachable and I’ve been here several times. Very accommodating for parents with a beautiful garden, baby changing facilities and toys/books for little ones. High recommend! ”

“ Randomly found this cafe on google map , we visited last Saturday in late afternoon , quite busy but able to get seat for three of us . Unfortunately some of food choices were not available that’s why we order three dishes as photo and egg Benedict was for my 7 years old . However we didn’t expect each of food came with chill oil on top that not quite fit for kids (and there is no kids menu ?) my daughter hard to manage some of eggs for rumbling tummy. Drinks are amazing though . ”

“ I have been coming to this spot pretty much since day one, so I thought it best to finally leave an in-depth review. Starting with the POSITIVES: - Kitchen 126 is very convenient for locals, offering a solid brunch/coffee realistically unrivalled in the area. -The food is great with a focus on strong, rich flavours and a respectable range of plates. -The coffee is some of the best you can get in Coventry! However, there are some NEGATIVES: -The venue itself feels like a constraint, with one too many tables packed in. I understand that the balance between capacity and price is delicate; however, at this point, the density of the tables negatively impacts the experience (even in the summer with external seating). - Service times can be slow, we have experienced wait times from circa twenty minutes on a good day to fifty minutes. This seems to be due to understaffing when busy. - On a few occasions I have experienced lukewarm food, served after your coffee has already gone cold (I will stress however that this is the exception and not the rule). Kitchen 126 really deserves the four stars awarded despite these drawbacks as it does offer great food and drink; you can really feel the love put into this business! I feel, however, that the sit in experience could be a lot better, and that this is really achievable with a change in approach. ”

“ I absolutely love it here! Always amazing friendly staff who can’t do enough for you , food is always SO good from the presentation to the flavours of the dishes - I highly recommend having a few plates and sharing as they are all just too good not to try! It is also perfect for my 3 and 4 year old who love the avocado on toast and a fresh smoothie all while playing with their lovely toys / colouring and even better when the weather is dry so we can sit outside and watch them play with in child area. Whether I’m popping in for a quick coffee, brunch with friends, or just some quiet time, this café never disappoints. A true gem—I can’t recommend it enough ”

“ Truly Fantastic! Best shakshuka I've ever tasted. The "Next level Shakshuka" with tender pieces of lamb is a must have. The coffee is delicious, and service was excellent. There is lots of space with 3 dining areas but this place seems quite popular. Must try brunch spot in Coventry ”
